The song: Feed your Head

Paul Kalkbrenner has released his third song, titled "Feed Your Head," which is taken from Seven, his seventh studio album, which will be available beginning on August 4.

After putting out Cloud Rider and Mothertrucker, Berlin-based deejay and producer Paul Kalkbrenner has now made accessible the third track from the seventh recording era, which is a song titled "Droga5 NY" and composed by Alexander Nowak and Felix Richter.

With the release of the official video on Friday, July 17, 2015, we have reached the third and last installment of the Florian trilogy, which follows the journeys of a little child who takes great joy in moving to the beat of various musical instruments.

In the conclusion of the series, our protagonist is given a second opportunity to share the music he adores. He does this by beginning to dance with very little motions, which still manage to engage those around, who then begin to move in the same way as him.

Paul Kalkbrenner: Biography

Born in Leipzig, he spent his childhood in Lichtenberg, Berlin, which was located in the eastern part of the city before the fall of the Berlin Wall. It was in Berlin's youth clubs that he began playing as early as the first half of the 1990s, and it was here that he and his friend Sascha Funke became interested in techno music.

The years between 1992 and 1997 were spent by Kalkbrenner and Funke, who were both huge fans of the band Underground Resistance from Detroit, looking for the greatest techno recordings that were available at the time. In the meantime, he was attending school where he studied music theory and learnt to play the trumpet. Beginning in 1995, when he was just 18 years old, he worked for two years in the television industry as an editor in order to save money for the equipment he required to compose his music. In 1999, he became a fan of the music label BpitchControl, which was established by Ellen Allien. The eight records that he has released so far are all for this particular project.

In the film Berlin Calling, which was directed by Hannes Stohr and released in 2008, he plays the part of Ickarus, a disc jockey who has achieved international acclaim but is now through a moment of crisis and decline in his career. The soundtrack of this film, which went on to become a cult classic in its category, was composed and produced by Kalkbrenner. The film was accompanied by an album, from which the single "Sky and Sand," which went on to become one of his most famous songs, was taken in 2009.

He frequently lists Kraftwerk and conventional German folk music as two of his most significant musical inspirations.
