This wonderful free ringtone download is an absolute classic, No Diggity, by the beloved Blackstreet boys. The title of the ringtone, No Diggity, means no doubt. Fans no doubt love Blacktreet, who after selling over 100 million albums is the pretty much the undisputed biggest boy band of all time. Blackstreet is actually one of the biggest musical groups ever, one of the few artists to have recorded multiple albums that went Diamond, or had 10 million in sales. There are only around 100 Diamond albums ever.

But even these facts fail to capture how much people love Blackstreet. Backstreet released hit album after hit album, rising ever higher with their fan base. After making it through to superstardom, the group broke up. The world really mourned the loss of the Blackstreet boys. This became a meme, and a recurring joke in movies by Seth Rogen. Finally, the fairytale was fulfilled, and Blackstreet reunited in a blaze of glory. Blackstreet did a long term residency in Las Vegas, along with lots of video and recording work to give all the fans what they wanted, the joy of Blackstreet.

No Diggity is the very first cut from Blackstreet's second album, entitled Another Level, released in 1996. This was Blackstreet's all important second followup album, building to true stardom but not yet all the way there. In order to ensure this album, Blackstreet brought in the world seminal and influential Dr. Dre. Queen Pen also was a featured artist on No Diggity. Queen Pen, from Brooklyn, was discovered by famous record producer Teddy Riley while she was working in an Ihop, International House of Pancakes restaurant.

This Yo Diggety ringtone is expertly edited, starting around 45 seconds into the official music video. This way, the ringtone comes in clearly with the Backstreet men singing together. On the video, after the live intro by Dr. Dre, little Blackstreet puppets play piano and base while this ringtone plays. It's a good long sample, we bet that many people will deliberately miss a call just to let the music play!

Yes, in a way the choice of this ringtone sample skips the most excellent introduction voiced by the always on point Dr. Dre, with his deep and recognizable voice. But this ringtone is for genuine Blackstreet fans. The ones that don't need the air of authenticity from anyone other than the original Blackstreet stars.
Everybody knows the Yo Diggity hook - "can't get you outta my mind, think about you all the time!"

Yo Diggity is considered by major music critics to be a peak of New Jack Swing, as architected by producer Teddy Riley. Yo `Diggity fans are enjoying blues sampled from Bill Withers song Grandma's Hands, recorded back in 1971. This R&B feel is coupled with what is known as swingbeat. Critics called Yo Diggity as a hymn to money, sex, and upward mobility. No wonder so many people love Yo Diggity! And no wonder so many people around the world love the Backstreet boys! Others called Yo Diggity a "hiphop masterpiece of unimaginable brilliance" and still others went with the description of "an instant, five minute pop classic."
Vibe magazine captured the soul of the Yo Diggity fan base - they wrote that Dr. Dre's mellow D-funk rap pumps like a Lexus roaring down 125th street while the Harlem neighborhood hotties look on with glee! There are a lot of hotties in the video, hanging out at a beach house and in a nightclub with the Blackstreet marionette playing the piano. It is a great feeling shared by fans around the world.

Yo Diggity is at # 32 on Blender magazines' top songs written since you were born list.

It's funny, Yo Diggity was originally NOT recorded when Teddy Riley offered the song to a group called Guy. Only then was this song re-offered by Teddy Riley to Blackstreet. Teddy Riley revealed in a later interview that it was a "hard sell" to get Blackstreet to record this song. The team actually then did force Teddy himself to sing the first verse. This is kind of a Harlem "Showcase at the Apollo" move, where the group puts the smallest person out first to see if he will get egged! Luckily for all of us, in this case the trick backfired in spectacular harmony, gifting the world with this bombshell hit! In a wonderful sense of karmic relief, Yo Diggity was the song that finally knocked "Macarena" off of fourteen weeks at the top of Billboard's Top 100 list.
