Fozzy - Judas

Chris Jericho, whose birth name is Chris Irvine, is a famous wrestler and performer who has high popularity in the United States. His real name is Chris Irvine. On the other hand, unless they are familiar with his Fozzy character, very few people on the new continent know who he is or what his name is.

It is hilarious to think about how the entertainment business in the United States is able to generate musicians who are able to fill places with little or no echo on our Continent; nevertheless, debating this would bring us to societal difficulties that have very little to do with music. [Case in point]

And to return to the world of the seven notes, in order to fully appreciate Fozzy's new album, which is simply titled "Judas," one must first rid their mind of the images they have seen on television of the wrestler Chris Jericho.

Once this is accomplished, they will be able to hear the music for what it was intended to be: music. A project that began in a completely lighthearted manner with the production of no fewer than two cover albums, the project has become increasingly "serious" and important in the day-to-day life of the star wrestler until this "Judas," which is nothing more than album number seven of a career that does not appear to have any lulls or waverings in it at this point.

The project began in a completely lighthearted manner with the production of no fewer than two cover albums. And it must be agreed, just as it was noted earlier that without any assumptions whatsoever, listening to "Judas" is totally pleasurable from the very first note to the very last note, starting with the title tune placed at the beginning of the album: a raw, primal track that has a sound that is reminiscent of Hinder and has a refrain that is both immediate and pandering at the same time. 'Drinking With Jesus' is a robust hard rock with a clear American flavor whose melodies are closely reminiscent of the modern rock of Shinedown.

All of this is accompanied by a grim and full production as well as first-rate instrumental and vocal performance that betray the playful teasing of the album. 'Painless' is a song that is closer to Skillet with its syncopated and magnetic singing at the same time, whilst 'Wordsworth Way' has a vibe that is nearly reminiscent of progressive rock with its magniloquent procession. 'Wordsworth Way' also has a majestic procession. There is no shortage of episodes with a techno vibe, such as "Burn Me Out" and "Weight Of The World," which may be the least successful of the group, but they illustrate that "Judas" has a significant aesthetic spectrum that can suit the preferences of a large audience.

Rich Ward and Billy Grey on guitars, Paul Di Leo on bass, and Frank Fontsere on drums complete the line-up of an album that pleases listen after listen, a little too coarse in some bangs but denoting the great singing talents of the good Chris Jericho who as a good entertainer manages to be so even in his Fozzy.
