The Corrs - "Long Night"

Introduction

The Corrs are an Irish family band, and "Long Night" was the third single released from their fourth studio album, Borrowed Heaven. The song was written by the band's lead singer, Mairead Corr (2004). The song was penned by Sharon Corr, and it was made available for purchase in the UK on December 6, 2004. Despite the fact that it was not successful in Europe or Australia, it rose to prominence in Brazil after being included in Senhora do Destino, one of the country's most popular prime-time soap operas.

The music video of "Long Night"

Only Andrea can be seen in the music video for "Long Night," and Sharon only makes a fleeting appearance during her violin solo. Aside from that, we see several incarnations of Andrea reliving the experience of having a romantic relationship with a younger guy. The shoot took place on October 29, 2004, if you're curious.

The video was shot in Chicheley Hall in Buckinghamshire, which is located north of London. Chicheley Hall was constructed in the 18th century and is still accessible to the general public today. You will find a picture of the hall in this location.

The group

The Doors are an Irish band best known for their Irish Folk/Celtic Rock music. They were formed in 1990 in Dundalk, the capital city of Louth in the Republic of Ireland, on the border with Northern Ireland.

Andrea, Caroline, Sharon, and Jim Corr are three sisters and a brother who have sold over 45 million albums worldwide in just a few years.

The idea for becoming a group came about in 1995, when siblings Jim, Sharon, and Carolina were cast as musicians in the film "The Commitments," and were recognized by John Hughes, who would become their future manager.

Their debut album, "Forgiven, Not Forgotten," was a tremendous hit in Ireland but not elsewhere. The band's worldwide success came with their second album, "Talk on Corners" (1997), which was preceded by the singles "Dreams" and "Runaway": it sold over ten million copies and is their best-selling album to this day.

In 2000, the Irish band published their third album, "In Blue," which was a major success, earning platinum status in the United States owing to the selling of one and a half million copies. The Corrs' hallmark tune became "Breathless."

The band's first Greatest Hits CD was published in 2001, followed three years later by the album "Borrowed Heaven," which was preceded by the song "Summer Sunshine."

Following the success of their most recent albums, which have routinely sold three to four million copies globally, their first world tour is nearly sold out at every stop.

The album "Home" is a half-flop in 2005, so The Corrs decide to take a break for a few months before releasing their own collection named "Dreams - The Ultimate Corrs Collection" in October 2006, however it is not successful.

As a result, the brothers opted to devote themselves to their families and abandoned music, with the exception of infrequent appearances and attempts to play as solo musicians.

The Corrs have long been interested in charity and social causes, and in 2005 they were granted the coveted "MBE" (Member of the British Empire - Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) honour for their contributions to the music business and charity.
