Akon - I Wanna Love You (Instrumental)

Introduction

Akon and Snoop Dogg collaborated on a song titled "I Wanna Love You," which was released as the album Konvicted's second single and also appears on Dogg's eighth studio album titled "Tha Blue Carpet Treatment." I Wanna Love You is a sanitized version of the song's original title, "I Wanna Fuck You."

The song debuted at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, becoming Akon's first number-one single and Snoop Dogg's second. In addition, the track peaked at position three in the UK singles chart, and it was warmly welcomed by audiences in virtually all of the nations in which it was made available to the public.

I wanna love you: the song

Plies was supposed to perform the verse that was written for Snoop Dogg at first; however, for reasons related to business, this decision was reversed. In point of fact, Plies was taken into custody on July 2, 2006 for possession of weapons that were not properly licensed, and two individuals who were connected to him were taken into custody for attempted murder.

Plies was in the middle of a concert when the announcer told the crowd that his performance will be cut short by 15 minutes so that Boosie Badazz could take the stage. In retaliation, members of Plies' entourage opened fire on others who were seeing the performance; as a consequence, five individuals were injured. Plies, on the other hand, was granted his freedom after making a payment of $5000.

At this time, Akon was still interested in promoting his song; however, he was concerned that collaborating with Plies after the event might cast a negative light on his personality. Akon decided to release it as a single despite the fact that Snoop's version had already begun to circulate in an unauthorized capacity. Akon stated in an interview with Hot 97 radio that Snoop's verse had, even before he reached out to Plies, been written for Trick Daddy, but for some reason, Plies recorded it. Akon did not explain why this occurred.

A year and a half later, in order to make up for what had happened, Akon collaborated with Plies on the song Hypnotized, which was produced by Akon himself.

Akon: biography

Akon Thiam is the son of musician Mort Thiam. He was born in St. Louis, Senegal, and lived there until the age of seven. He spent the following several years bouncing back and forth between America and his own country until, at the age of 15, he relocated permanently to Jersey City, Hudson County, New Jersey.

His early work piqued the interest of record labels SRC and Universal Music Group, who signed him and offered him the opportunity to release his debut album "Trouble" on June 29, 2004. The album is a hybrid of African music and Southern rap.

The tracks "Locked Up," "Lonely," "Bananza," "Pot Of Gold," and "Ghetto" are taken from Akon's solo debut, Trouble. 'Locked Up,' composed before Akon completed a three-year term for auto theft, peaked at No. 1 in the United States and No. 5 in the United Kingdom.

The second single, 'Ghetto,' did not become a hit until it was remixed by DJ Green Lantern, who added verses by legendary rappers Notorious B.I.G. and 2Pac. In 2005, Akon released the single Lonely (sampling Bobby Vinton's Mr. Lonely), which reached No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and topped in Australia, the United Kingdom, and Germany. In April, her album debuted at number one in the United Kingdom, as well as in Australia and Germany.

Rush, sung with Kardinal Offishall, was released in 2008, followed by Hold My Hand, recorded with Michael Jackson, and Right Now (Na Na Na), which was released in two versions, one of which was sung with Kat DeLuna.
